Fairy Cake

Today I baked fairy cakes and I enjoyed it because cooking is one of  my hobbies.

Fairy Cakes

Ingredient:

1. 125 g of butter (softened at room temperature)

2. 125 g of caster sugar

3. 2 eggs,beaten

4. 125 g of self-raising flour

5. 2 tbsp of milk

Icing:

125 g of icing sugar

1 tbsp of lemon juice

1 tbsp of warm water

Use any decorations

what you need:

1.bowl

2.spoon/whisk (hand)

3.table spoon

4.cake tin

5. 12 paper cases

6.cooling rack

7.small bowl (for icing)

 

Instructions:

1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees/gas mark 5.Use a wooden spoon /whisk and cream together and cream the butter and sugar together until it  is light and fluffy.

2.Add the eggs a little at a time, beating well after each time you add them. Pour the flour in the bowl and fold it in carefully.

3.Mix in the milk. Then stir until the mixture is smooth and then divide the mixture in the paper cases (inside the tin).

4.Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the cakes are risen and golden brown.

5.Pour the icing sugar into the bowl and crush up the lumps.Put in the lemon juice and pour in the warm water.Stir until it is nice and thick.

6.Spoon the icing onto the cake. Then spread it all around the cakes. Finally place your decorations on the cake and you can be as imaginative as you like.
